Why Join?
Science Olympiad is a national STEM competition where students work in teams to explore science through hands-on challenges, experiments, and problem solving. Whether you’re a student, coach, or mentor, there’s a place for you to grow, learn, and make an impact.
For Students
Grades 3-12 can join Science Olympiad teams across Baltimore City. You'll explore science topics, build projects, and compete in exciting tournaments. No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to learn!
For Coaches
Teachers, parents, and community members can become coaches! Coaches meet with students after school, guide them in hands-on science activities, and prepare teams for tournaments. Baltimore City teachers are eligible for stipends, training, and free curriculum resources.
